What ingredients does a training need?

During our training at Inherit Your Rights we try to do the following with every audience:

-engage their interest and create trust

-create empathy through storytelling

- create understanding of their legal rights

- involvement and participation

We do this by starting with games and fun, we add videos, diagrams, small group discussion and provide space for lots of questions.

Recently at our training for women, in Terat, Simanjaro, 60 women enjoyed all of those ways and at the same time learned about the rights of children and why domestic violence violated a woman's rights.
